Museum curator and printmaker/fiber artist from Innsbruck, Austria, Melkonyan-Mayr made two treks to Paducah as part of the program. Melkonyan-Mayr arranged the cultural exchange with Paducah artists at the Imperial Palace in Innsbruck. During her second residency, Melkonyan-Mayr engaged in an exclusive workshop to learn a non-toxic intaglio printing process with Freda Fairchild at Miska Art Studio.
