[ August 22, 2010 to September 4, 2010. ] Join us at AIR Studio Saturday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. in welcoming Marie Weichman as she introduces us to her plans to create an installation with flexible casting materials such as rubber silicones that are cast with an embossed surface in sections. View the finished product Friday, Sept. 3 from 6-8 p.m.
The mission of the Paducah Arts Alliance is to promote our growth as artists and as an art community. Any profession requires constant education and the stimulation of new ideas and exposure to others in the field. It’s not every day that you meet someone in Tunisia and follow him back to Paducah. But that’s exactly what the gorgeous Swiss artist with the heartbreakingly charming French accent Corinne Spielewoy did. Spielewoy, originally from France, was in Tunisia earlier this year when she met LowerTown artist Paul Lorenz at an international art show.
